
LTQ Engineering Pty Limited (LTQ) provides Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services to the global aviation market.
Operating from its facility next to Melbourne Airport, Australia, core products and services include jet engine core MRO – extending to engine parts repair, NDT engine testing and emergency on-wing AOG services – as well as the overhaul of aircraft flaps, tracks and carriages and electroplating services.
LTQ has capability to overhaul CFM International (56-3 and 56-7) and GE CF6 (80C2 and 80E1) engine types – certifications include CASA, FAA, EASA, CAAC, CAAP and DGCA-Indonesia.
LTQ’s employs 200 highly skilled staff at its operating facility includes a 25,000 sq. m. workshop. Engine testing is performed at its new, state-of-the-art test cell which can accommodate up to 100,000lbs of thrust.
LTQ has been in operation since 2004 – originally under the name of Jet Turbine Services - and on 1 July 2008 became a privately owned joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT) and Qantas Airways Limited.
